To see the 1999s sans instruments one could be mistaken for thinking them members of a boy band, that is because at an average age of just over sixteen they are in fact only boys. The impression is destroyed when they pick up their instruments. 1999 (or the 1999's to the ones close to them), rock hard with a solid grounding in good old fashioned riff based high energy rock and roll. Their twin guitar attack and strong vocals showcase what seems to be a limitless supply of originals, backed by one of the youngest and tightest rhythm sections around.
