2ND is grungy guitar verses pretty piano! From Sydney’s southwest, the 3 piece recorded their first track, 'Don't Be Gone For Long' in 2009, just as their drummer's wife was giving birth during the recording! After some great gigs including Cockatoo Island and the Gaelic Theatre, evrything seemed to be falling into place until Rob (vocals/guitar) developed 2 nodules on his vocal chords and had to give up singing for over a year. During this time Eric (piano/vocals) moved to the United States indefinitely. All seemed to have ended for 2ND... By 2011, after months of speech therapy, Rob's voice had healed, Eric moved back to Sydney from Oaklahoma and 2ND recorded they're first EP, 'Mr Short and His Online Girlfriend' (iTunes,Google Play) In 2013 they released their second EP, 'Nature Hold's the Gun' (iTunes,Google Play) and their music video of the track 'Black and White'!
