Empty cups of tea strewn about a home-made studio, two speakers pouring out hard-hitting drum beats, smoke sitting in a haze about the ceiling and a couple white boys from the 'burbs stare frantically at a computer screen, crafting magic. This is an average night for 2Sugars. Daniel Hershowitz & Wayne Friedman are new to the industry, and they're bringing a new sound with them. Combining the rawness of old school boom-bap and the eccentricity of sample manipulation, 2Sugars create a new blend of hip-hop - a brew worth sipping. Currently producing for local artists including Josh Jakq and Freeds, 2Sugars makes their presence known.
