Can you imagine playing the Glastonbury Festival? 3 Year Project aren’t just imagining it — they’re building towards it. Fronted by Sunshine Coast father Sam Holden, 3 Year Project is a Britpop-inspired band reviving songs first written when Holden was just 16 years old. Decades later, those songs have found new life, purpose, and urgency through an ambitious mission: 100 gigs in three years, culminating on the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage in 2027. Deeply rooted in the spirit of Oasis, Blur, and Powderfinger, 3 Year Project blends soaring guitar riffs, anthemic choruses, and emotionally honest lyrics. Their sound taps into the golden era of Britpop while feeling fresh, relatable, and unmistakably human — songs about love, mental health, longing, and the passage of time. More than a band, 3 Year Project is a statement. It’s about second chances, unfinished dreams, and proving that ambition doesn’t expire with age. Along the way, the project is raising awareness and funds for mental-health causes, using music as a platform for connection and hope. With a growing catalogue, a large live show in the pipeline, and a story that resonates far beyond the stage, 3 Year Project is a compelling new voice for listeners who believe that dreams are still worth chasing — no matter when you start.
