3Islands
3Islands is band coming out of Bondi NSW consist of four members and is a mix off Hiphop, Surfrock and Reggae. Smashing clubs and bars around the eastern suburb, These guys know to put on a show and is packed to capacity almost every time they play. With a catchy vibe to most tracks is why these guys are overtaking the Bondi area and the sound is nothing but original!!
We are a local hip hop/rock fusion band that combines hints of reggae and soul with feelgood vibes. 3Islands formed with Chris Frias, Dan Ryan and Mac Bison in early 2015 merging roots from 3 different Islands around the world: Philippines, New Zealand and Australia (which is why the band bears its name). After collaborating with Canadian drummer Adam Draper, 3Islands smashed out their first single Killin' It. Finally, the fifth and final piece to the puzzle came to us just a few months ago, female vocalist from England, Lisa Thomas, who brings a bold and soulful voice to the mix. We have two new singles coming your way and we are working on putting togther a first album! Check us out at the Finals of Festival Emergenza on December 18th at the Metro Theatre in Sydney!
