Eco-conscious Three Tree Posse are a trio based in Switzerland. Their beats and rhythms have admirably combined influences drawn from the jazz and funk traditions. On their 70-minute 1993 debut album there is enough quality to recommend it as Switzerland’s first convincing musical statement in the hip-hop idiom.
