Edit history

4-Forty first formed in the Burdekin as an alternative punk band playing covers from Greenday, AFI, Blink-182, The Offspring, Rise Against and many other classic and alternative rock groups. We played for the first time at the Burdekin Battle Of The Bands in 2009. After playing we realized that we really wanted to create our own original music that we could call our own. This motivated us to push ourselves further which payed off in 2010 when 4-Forty made it to the regional finals for the NQ Battle Of The Bands. 4-Forty have played at many youth events like the monthly untitled gig in Townsville and winning best original song in the 2010 NQ rock awards as well as best drummer taken out by 4-Forty drummer Paul Barker. By winning we had also won $1000 to record an EP. We have a growing list of originals songs: Simple World, Run, Successfully Insane, Not the Same, Like We Predicted, Enterprise, Forgivers are Forgetters, Your Not a Hero and some un-named ones in the making.
