Since their sardine-packed launch in Northcote's boho-epicentre in 2011 8Foot Felix have been nurturing and crafting an immersive musical-theatrical experience with a dedication to both 'dancing-til-you-can't-dance-no-more' and flights of improvised fancy that carve afresh the elusive but tantalising story of a ship on a mythical journey, lost in time and space. A headline slot at Rainbow Serpent's Playground Stage in 2012 catapulted the Felix into a festival circuit that saw them return in September 2013 from an exalting UK Tour. The band was recently commissioned by the Natimuk Frinj Festival to sculpt a bike-powered interactive son-et-lumiere performance which they are planning to tour in 2014. In meantime new material from the show will leaping out of their upcoming sets, including their return to the Playground's headline spot at Rainbow Serpent in January 2014.
