A BOY NAMED ESME is the very slight alter ego of award winning songwriter Esme Macdonald. He's served time as the bass player for the critically acclaimed PENTHOUSE (UK ) and THE PARADISE MOTEL (TAS) and has toured and played festivals in Europe, Australia and Japan. The latter he still tours regularly as bassist of Melbourne country rockers LOT 56. Esme also played a handful of folk festivals with trad irish band WINTERGREEN ( SA ) as a singer/ guitarist. These disparate influences all come together in the Folking Country songs of A BOY NAMED ESME.
