I am A. Christoph, a solo artist/composer/songwriter from Brisbane. I have written songs since the age of 10 and have wanted to make music for as long as I can remember. First playing with my Yamaha PSR keyboard with my trusty tape recorder in tow. As a youngster, I had a love hate relationship with music lessons, loving the idea of learning an instrument, but hating my actual piano and guitar lessons. Though I later had a solid 7 years of percussion lessons during school. I gradually picked up my guitar and the piano again in my own time, this time teaching myself and playing by ear. After school I got into the Brisbane music scene playing drums in a few local bands between 1998 and 2004. This keeps me sane. It is my escape from the world. I love writing and composing in my spare time from my day job as a water engineer and attempt to create fresh sounding music, which is unique in styling, but incorporates many influences and sounds using synths, guitars, bass and any other toys
