BIOGRAPHY Q&A Q: Can you remember your first gig? A: I think I was about 6 - I would sing and play piano for friends of the family, and as a reward I would get to stay up late and eat dessert. Q: What was your first guitar? A: A no-name classical guitar from a fete that cost about $15! I actually still write most of my songs on it to this day. Q: How many guitars do you own now? A: Always too many, but never enough. Q: When did you start writing your own music? A: I guess when I was about 11 or 12, as soon as I could put 3 chords together. Q: What inspires you to write? A: Probably emotions, the way humans treat each other… also other things like biographies on people who have really changed the world for the better.
