****The new album 'Timebombs in the Sea' out now!**** A Man Called Son (AMCS) is the ongoing project of Simon Pearlman. Conceived in Brisbane, Simon initially created AMCS as a home studio project. After a relocation to Melbourne and various lineups, AMCS's current incarnation is Simon (guitars/vox/keyboards & other instruments), Sam James (Guitars), Thomas Madden (bass) and James Rance (drums/percussion). Third album 'No Maps' was released in late 2016 and received strong community radio airplay. After time off writing new songs & reshuffling of personnel, AMCS began recording new material in 2019. The melancholy 1st single 'What We Had' was released in November 2020. AMCS released 2nd single in late 2021, the upbeat ditty 'Plateau'.' A third single, the luxuriant ballad 'Slowing To A Crawl', was released in November 2022 and is sure to whet the appetite for the new album.
