Abandoned Imaginary Friends is J. Grant. He's been an instrument tinkerer for a lot of years, with interests ranging from experimental noise rock to sacred harp to hip hop. Most of compositions are the obvious bastard children of this multiplicity, but AIF is intended to be more traditionally-geared. That idea of tradition is obviously tinkered-with, too, but is still at the heart of this thing.
