Edit history

ABYZMAL are a metal band from the southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, formed by good mates Rory McLay and Chris McEwen in 2008. ABYZMAL combine elements of old school thrash, melody and at times blends of other genres to create their own original sound. Between the years of 2008, 2009 and early 2010 ABYZMAL made countless line up changes including the departure of vocalist Shay Aitkin, drummer Sog (THE BREWS, TROOPS OF DOOM) and drummer Sam Bolton. However, mid 2010 sees ABYZMAL in good health with Chris taking on vocal duties, Ben Sims (Matronarch) recruited as a 2nd guitarist, Sog returning to the band on drums and Rory continuing to write new material. Now armed with a new line up and recently recording a four track demo (which you can hear on our music player) ABYZMAL are ready to play to the Adelaide metal fans and hopefully beyond... Stay metal!!! \m/
