Formed in Melbourne via various friendships, cover bands and common love for all things musical(apart from "yacht rock" read Toto, Boston...we draw the line somewhere), AD is a hard working outfit whose total is hopefully greater than the sum of its parts. Matt, Paul, Shel and Rich have been gigging and recording across any number of Melbourne venues for any number of causes and any number of punters. AD recently released a new cd called Chinese Whispers comprising 8 original ,energetic songs that try their hardest to grab the listener's attention and hold it long enough to make a permanent impression in their consciousness. Described as sounding like You Am I, Crowded House, Elvis Costello, Coldplay, Counting Crows amongst others gives you an idea of the influences that have helped form, but not determine , their sound. With great harmonies and a tight rhythm section, an AD gig is a bunch of energetic songs played from the heart on acoustic guitars.
