Chad Lockwood gigged for five years through Perth as part of celebrated-yet-underseen band Navarone in the late 90s, before jetting off to Melbourne to pursue other loves. But music has always been around, and every so often, he dips his toes in the water, slips spectacularly off the tiles, belly-flops into the pool and comes up gasping for air. Once he adds a drum beat, the song is halfway there.
