Adam was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia with his family in Sydney and on the mid-north coast of NSW. From the age of 10 he started playing guitar and singing and by 14 was writing his own songs. Adam has been performing, both as a solo artist and in bands since his High School years. Adam's music is diverse and interesting with a range of subjects covered lyrically and a melodic fusion of folk, rock and blues in his musical style. Adam has a deep voice which is often commented on for its quality and individual sound. He is a passionate performer and audiences respond well to his popular but unique style. His wide range of influences include The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Eagles, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Dire Straits, Lou Reed and Leonard Cohen, through to great Australian bands from the 70s through to the present such as Paul Kelly, INXS, Midnight Oil, Crowded House, Hunters and Collectors, Australian Crawl, Mondo Rock, Tame Impala, The War On Drugs, The Drones and Courtney Barnett. Adam released an album of 12 diverse songs in 2017 called ‘Little Death’, and then an acoustic version of that album a year later. His catchy and interesting songs traverse many styles such as folk-rock, blues, alt-country and Australiana. In November 2018 Adam started recording some new material at a local studio in Flowerdale, Victoria. Those sessions finally wrapped up at the end of August and became Adam’s third album ‘The Dark Side of The Earth’. Two early singles from these sessions: ‘Cupid’ and ‘Shining Car’, were well-received by radio, social media and local fans. Now based in Melbourne, Adam released The Dark Side Of The Earth in September 2019. The drummer and bass guitarist who recorded on the new album have joined Adam’s live shows, as he continues to perform solo around Melbourne and occasionally other parts of Australia.
