Addicted Culture, formed in early 2006, is looking like it's going to be a great thrill ride for its members. The band came together after some, lets just say, not so good events. Filip, on guitar and piano, and Murat, on bass, were in another band that went by the name of Head On Collision. They had small success around the northern suburbs of Melbourne, but nothing big. They decided to call it quits at the end of 2005 with no regrets. Since Filip was good friends with Tugba before playing with Head On Collision and she was a main lyrical contributor for the band, it wasn’t hard for him to say “fuck yeah” when she asked him whether he would like to start a new band with her. Next they set their sights on Zuhal, a fantastic singer/songwriter. After collaborating with her on a song the previous year, she was a front-runner to front the band.
