Recently erupting from the chrysalis with a new line-up, Brisbane alternative rockers, After Earth are unfolding their balanced, naturally progressive sound into reality once again. Forming in late 2008, Æ performed a variety of shows around Brisbane before disbanding, most notably Progfest in 2009. Materializing diverse, progressive and emotional music, Æ explores the depths of dark ambience, building to soaring crescendos while intertwining passages of intensity with eerie apocalyptic undertones. Each instrument though independent, harmonizes to form a whole, prompting listeners to envisage tangible layers of texture. In the coming year of 2011, After Earth will be performing throughout Brisbane, as well as releasing their much anticipated debut EP.
