Afterlight was formed in may 2014 when previous members of the Brisbane metalcore band 'Shorelines' were hoping to create a more progressively based music. Finding a couple more like minded members Afterlight continued to write in this similar style whilst sticking to the natural 'bounce' of metalcore. With a combined effort members have toured and supported some big acts such as; Northlane, House vs Hurricane, While She Sleeps, In Hearts Wake, Buried in Verona, Alesana, Sienna Skies and Confession just to name a few. With the debut release of their single 'Hopeless' and 'Asylum' they intend to hit the ground running.
