Hailing from the flat lands and raised on American and British blues, Sydneysider Aidan D. Cooney releases single "When The Shadows Are Long and There's A Blood Red Sky". Recorded live with producer Wade Keighran (bassist with Steve Smyth & The Outlaws, Wolf & Cub) and under the influence of Howlin' Wolf and Sam Cooke, this single is taken from a spontaneous recording session that will form an EP to be released later in 2016. The shedding of layers and masks is the main inspiration behind this raw new set of songs. Captivating audiences live, single "When the Shadows Are Long and There's a Blood Red Sky" perfectly showcases Cooney's lyrical landscape and command of guitar and space.
