Aidy.com is a band consisting of three people collaborating in Australia and the UK to prove the very sentiments of the term DIY, and over several years have built a loyal following with not only their songs, but with smart ideas, hard work and wry humour, and all this without any label backing. Masters of fragile, bittersweet pop music, the sound is reminiscent of Guided by Voices at their most melodic, albeit with an altogether more boyish enthusiasm that tips its hat to both Weezer and Matthew Sweet. 90's luminaries Oasis and Nirvana are also big influences, and Aidy.com's music and rapidly growing online persona is one that harbours no pretence, adding a consistent personal touch. Through tireless and inspiring tenacity, Aidy.com have managed to make the website more than just a generic site to list upcoming tour dates, and with a series of video blogs, they have created something that many musicians and bands cannot - a definable personality, a link to the men behind the songs
