Surry Hills local Aimés, drinks herbal tea at her cute neighbourhood cafe while writing lyrics and watching the world go by. Blending elements of indie, pop, new wave and soul, Aimés' confessional songwriting is carried with, crisp vocals, catchy hooks and dreamy melodies. Her new release "It Doesn't Have To Feel Heavy" Aimés is learning how to slow down and take time doing life, instead of letting FOMO take over. "I like being busy, I like saying yes to things, and I love making plans. It's easy to feel like you're “running out of time” when it comes to ticking off big life goals. I'm learning to take the time to feel into things and instead of impulsively going full steam ahead, and that’s been freeing".
