Born in Mt. Isa, North QLD, Aimz grew up with a passion for all things music. Moving to the busier and more bustling city of the Gold Coast with her parents and sister at age 4, she began on a path that would help her love for music grow. In school, she took piano lessons for 5 years, learning theory and the history of music. When she was 12, she picked up the drumsticks, and played until her fingers bled.. Inspired by the likes of Australian artists like Illy, Conrad Sewell and international artists such as Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, she began her promising career in song-writing. Looking for that perfect pop sound, Aimz persisted in finding something that was as equally catchy as it was honest. Her sole purpose being to follow her life-long dream, Aimz hopes to take her music all around the world, inspiring others to follow their dreams too.
