I always liked listening to The Atlantics and was fascinated by the guitar sounds. In my first year of high school my best friend introduced me to his band. I would attend their band practices and gained a strong interest in playing guitar. My mother had been a concert guitarist for some years but gave up playing before I was born. She still had her guitar in storage until I took it out one day to try my hand. I told her was going to learn to play it. She had the guitar restrung and arranged lessons.
