One rainy night when I was seven years old, I was staring out the backseat window of my mums blue Ford Focus, when some catchy lyrics came into my head. I sang them to my mum and dad with the pitter patter of rain hitting the roof of the car. From that moment on, I knew that song writing was what I loved and wanted to share with the rest of the world.] My name is Alannah Olivia, a singer/songwriter from Victoria. My music doesn’t have a specific genre, rather I believe that it is created for people of all ages and backgrounds. With its laid back style, my lyrics are made to make you laugh, cry, dance, sing and have a good time. Growing up, my dad played all sorts of music on our car rides, from Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’ to Green Day to Drapht, my music taste spreads far and wide, which is what I wanted to capture in my own music.
