Through his teenage years, Alastair dabbled in song writing and played in various bands, but none progressed much further than his parent’s garage. He juggled success in acting with aspirations for music till eventually, it struck him. In 2008, dusting off the guitar, he began reconnecting with the thing he loves most, music. It was at this time that all began to make sense. Now approaching hi...s mid 20s, Alastair had a short stint as a teacher to save enough to fund a decent guitar and a trip to Japan, where he busked on the streets of Tokyo and started to learn his craft. Returning home, he put together a 3 piece acoustic band and started performing as much as he could across Victoria, holding long standing residencies in several venues. One night, around the middle of 2010, Alastair caught the interest of a producer and label. Alastair Vick's debut EP - Room With No Windows was released on 2/10/11.
