Combining influences from a broad range of genres, Albany Avenue looks to create indie alt rock songs paired with self reflective honest lyrics.
Before the debut EP, Josh had been apart of a few other projects one being Mum Thinks Blue playing primarily drums. Wanting to expand his horizons, he decided to put together a small collection of songs and release them under the name Albany Avenue.
The 5 tracks were written recorded and produced by himself in his home studio. The lyrical content of the songs throughout the EP reflect on his own attitude towards the newfound freedom he had after finishing high school. He plans to expand the horizons of his solo project at some point collaborating with other artists to turn it into a band project.
