Alex and The Arguments is DIY easy punk rock, straight from the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Started as a solo project to vent frustrations and remove boundaries from the music he was writing, Alex started writing under the name Alex and The Arguments and soon found himself with a collection of music and need to write about himself in third person on an unearthed profile. Catchy, hook driven punk was the main inspiration for Alex and The Arguments, the kind of music that has enough grit and emotion to pull you in, and enough finesse to keep you listening and bopping along the whole time. Venting the troubles of being a millennial in a world that is not made for millennials is a primary focus, addressing social issues with a slapstick approach that captures the same feeling young people feel when they can't help but laugh at how screwed we are as a generation. More or less, Alex and The Arguments is an open diary for the pissed off youth.
