Hailing from Noosa, QLD, Alex Bain was a dedicated performer in theatre and short films for her first few years out of school, whilst songwriting and pretending to be Ella Fitzgerald in any downtime she's had since she was ten. Although clearly not as talented as Fitzgerald, she did find her feet in live performances as a singer in high school and in writing stupid songs like "One Pump and it's Over" to make her friends laugh at parties. In 2013, she met her partner James Millar in Brisbane and together they performed as co- writers and singer/instrumentalists in band with bassist Daniel Searle, The 99'ers. She and James also wrote and recorded as The Rambovas, and following a short break from music followed by time in LA and New York, Alex returned from their trip with renewed inspiration. She started spending all of her time writing and recording, with James producing her songs. She's always adding to her Soundcloud, and recently released, a song, "You Win" on iTunes and Spotify.
