Alex Blyth is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Adelaide, South Australia. A notes folder full of countless stories, and voice memos for new songs on her phone, she is known to stay up writing personal lyrics and melodies as late as 2am. Calling songwriting her therapy and finding inspiration in Adele, Olivia Rodrigo and Julia Michaels, Alex combines anthemic, infectious melodies with raw, "diary-esque" lyrics. An effortless vulnerability and power to her vocal tone, Alex has been writing songs in her room since she was 11. Recognised in Vanda & Young Global Song Contest in 2023 with her track, 'Miss You a Little Less', she's become known for her hard hitting lyricism and 'hauntingly beautiful' voice. Releasing 'Wish I Knew' in 2024, Alex was featured on BBC Radio 1 over in London, expanding her presence in Australia overseas. Addressing body image and self comparison in her next track, 'Pretty Privilege', Alex continues her reputation of creating songs that resonate deeply.
