Alex Dew is a lyric-driven artist with a multi-octave voice, weaving intricate fingerpicked guitar and piano melodies with raw, introspective storytelling. His music delves into the complexity of youth—its restlessness, longing, and quiet moments of hope. Having spent his formative years in Australia, Alex recently returned to Sydney after immersing himself in Berlin’s music scene, where he found inspiration in its raw energy and underground spirit. While his time there expanded his artistic horizons, his sound remains deeply rooted in the experiences and influences that shaped him long before. Blending folk, blues, and alternative elements, Alex’s songs capture the feeling of being caught between past and future, searching for meaning in scattered moments.
