14-year-old Alex Fletcher grew up in a musical family, and has been writing songs from the age of 7, coming up with songs for much longer than that. Alex’s first EP was released in March of 2019, and featured six original tracks. Alex describes his music as “strange, unique, ukulele-driven indie-pop with a hint of punk messages.”. He writes about his life as a queer disabled person, illnesses, politics, growing up and the stuff every teenager writes about: love, heartbreak and wanting to be accepted. The youngster identifies as non-binary (he/they pronouns) and is autistic, as well as living with several chronic illnesses. Alex has two new singles coming out on September 1st, 2019.
