2018 sees one of Australia’s most eminent house producers, Alex Preston, announce his brand new live show. Alex utilises his skills as a virtuoso musician in his totally new show as he melds tasteful guitar licks and disco-tinged funky bass lines, with warm, pulsating house beats. Shut away in the studio for months, Alex has created an exciting new style of underground house. With underpinnings in tech and disco house, it features live guitar & bass with sampled percussion, “I wanted to make a new style of house music that I could play live for people. I want it to have balance between live, sometimes improvised guitar, bass & percussion; and pumping dance-floor house.” says Alex.
