I used to play keyboards in a hardcore band called 'Cardinals' for 5 years. After the band broke up, I decided to try a different approach in music. I had always had a guitar lying around my house somewhere, but I'd never really picked it up until after the band split. After a few months I used the band's breakup as inspiration for the first song I wrote, This Morning. I had friends tell me they were impressed and that I should try and write another song and so I began writing more songs although I wasn't content with just a guitar and my voice. I didn't want to join a band either, so I bought a loop station. I've connected my keyboard, guitar, and vocals to the looper in order the create a full band sound by myself. From there I wrote a few more songs, played some shows, made a Facebook page, triplejunearthed and a soundcloud, and thats how I became a solo artist! :)
