Singer Chantell Alexi and Guitarist Kenan Basara met and started writing together in January of 2010. By the end of 2010 the band welcomed 2 more members, Bassist Adam Lawes and Drummer Vadim Gerasimov and recorded 7 high quality demos in January 2011. Alexi went into the Emergenza world-wide competition and won their heat at the Metro on 03/03/11. Unfortunately Vad and then Kenan left the band which put a halt to further progression in the contest. The end of 2011 was a rebuilding stage and we were lucky enough to find Mr Sparkles (Michael Turner) on guitars and new drummer Craig Whitaker. Alexi then wrote 5 fresh songs and produced / recorded them with Geoff Zenner in December 11 - January 12. Now we are hungry for time on stage - to hone our live performances and reach as many people as possible. New songs are in the pipeline, so look out for us in a venue near you :-)

Alexi has a big personality for a young man. The outspoken 20 year old rapper from Bondi delivers a blend of relevant social commentary and more personal introspective raps over forward thinking, post 2000's beats, with the occasional throwback to more traditional 90's style production. Under a different moniker Alexi has received air play on fbi and triple j unearthed radio as well as supporting the likes of Chance Waters, Daily Meds and Citizen Kay. Alexi's forthcoming mixtape 'Curly Ting' is due for release late 2015.
