Combining the intimacy of blues with the anger of pop-punk, Ali Reyis is no stranger to the collision of two worlds. Having recorded and performed three albums all over Australia under the name "Hawkeye Reis", Reyis rebranded and travelled to the USA in 2019 while signed to Brisbane Record Label "21 Studios", fired up and hungry for more. Touring through the States, what emerged at the start of 2020 was "Deepintheheart", a three track emotional, acoustic EP featuring emo kings Ritual Club and Jordan Brown as Self, recorded in Austin, Texas with Kieran Krebs at Overcast Recordings which received radio time and playlisting. Reyis returns in 2023 with his sophomore EP, "Stars for a Blanket", an explosion of angry pop-punk, emo and blues intermixed with the raw emotion of his roots as an acoustic singer-songwriter. x___x
