Alison Hams is recognised as one of Australian country music's most professional and versatile performers. Already known for her colourful onstage appearance and fine musicianship, Ali's music has been broadcast and highlighted everywhere including on Bert Newton's TEN Television Network "Good Morning Australia". Alison's music has seen her perform across Australia and New Zealand - and in Nashville. In 2003 she was a Grand Finalist in Australian Country Music's premier talent search - TOYOTA Star Maker. "Second Fiddle" from her all-Original album "Daisy Train" won the UK Songwriting Contest, with the follow-up single "Romeo" appearing on the soundtrack of Australian feature film "Offing David". Ali's charity Single "Jelly Baby Song" (raising money towards finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes) hit No. 3 on the Australian iTunes Children's Chart, and in 2019 Alison was named Top 3 Grand Finalist in the Australian Women In Music Awards (won by Dami Im)! A proudly South Australian artist, Alison has claimed a prestigious SAMI (South Australian Music Industry Award), is a Graduate of the CMAA College of Country Music, and is inducted into the South Australian Country Music, and Brand South Australia, Halls Of Fame. Alison and her (fellow singer-songwriter) husband Mark Tempany run the award-winning "One Stop Music Shop" business Stormfront Productions based Regional SA. For nearly 20 years the pair have been recognised as musicians, educators, studio producers, event producers, engineers and their constant philanthropic work in the community. In 2016 Mark and Alison created the Whyalla Recording Scholarship - fully sponsoring and supporting young Regional artists to record and release their Debut Single, and Music Video! To-date WRS has launched the recording careers of BREEZE Millard, Shakira Lea, Jaylee Daniels and Liberty Tuohy to significant chart and media attention. In November 2021 Alison won the SA Music Award for Best Music Educator, and was inducted by The Governor Of South Australia onto the SA Government's "SA Womens Honour Roll" recognising her outstanding lifelong achievements in, and dedication to music and the community philanthropy she has delivered through it. In 2022 Alison began providing Piano lessons to students of Port Augusta School Of The Air as part of a new programme sponsored by Indulkaninna Foundation to deliver music to Primary-aged kids as far away as the NT border. 2023 sees Alison and Mark launching their brilliant new Original CD album "Out Into The Blue", debuting through National media outlets in May. This project has seen the duo working and collaborating across the world with some of the best talents available - supporting Music Videos will also appear from mid 2023 onwards.
