Edit history

All Hands Down first formed in early 2007 after three music students decided to try something different with their music. Over the coming years, All Hands Down moved through the local scene, playing shows all around the northern beaches. The highlight of 08 was when All Hands Down entered a Australia-wide 'Kool Skools' competition where they got the opportunity to record a track at Megaphon Studios in St Peters Sydney. There song "Number Twelve" went on to receive the best mainstream rock track and a nomination for best male vocals at the annual award ceremony, at the Metro Theatre (an event which All Hands Down was asked to perform at). 2009 so far has seen All Hands Down go into the studio to record there first 4 track EP and the band is looking to continue performing and writing over the coming months.
