Allostene existed throughout Perth & W.A from 2005 - 2010. They cut their teeth onstage alongside Sugar Army, Elora Danan, Tame Impala, The Amity Affliction, Graham Greene & many other greats of the era. On Saturday June 20, 2009 they released their debut EP "High Road" to a packed house at The Rosemount Hotel with Brutus, Bat Country & The Siren Tower. In December of the same year, their lead guitarist suffered a severe injury to his left index finger, rendering him incapable of playing his instrument. They took some time away from the stage in hopes of recovery but Allostene never performed again. In the years passing the members have gone on to form various other outfits and pursue interests in very different genres of music. Their only ever recording is still available through Firestarter Music and glimpses of their short career can be found on Myspace & YouTube.
