Edit history

Forming in September 2013, Allurer are brand new on the Brisbane music scene and are already making waves. The indie folk/pop group with Sarah Hogan (Vox and Guitar), Chelsea Gourgaud (Drums), Katie Gibb (Keys and backing vox), Ciara Geogheagan (Glockenspiel/keys and backing vox) and Owey Banks (Bass) combine the acoustic softness of Julia Stone, the melodic choruses of Daughter and the creative lyrics somewhat reminiscent of Australian talent Felicity Groom. With years of writing experience, Sarah is a songwriter to watch out for. Supporting her talents, Chelsea, Katie, Ciara and Owey add their own touches to create underlying sounds of haunting harmonies and laid back percussion. The result; original songs such as Little Things and Black Bird that capture the imagination. This year you can expect to hear more from Allurer as they continue writing in preparation for their first EP, set to be recorded in 2015.
