Terence Crawford and Richard Davies have been writing songs together for more than 40 years. In 2018, TC decided to form a band to share the songs, recruiting two great young singers and musicians, Max Garcia-Underwood and Nicola Grant, and naming the band Almost Evelyn. We're a multi-generational outfit - that's one way of saying that TC is easily old enough to be dad to the others! Almost Evelyn have played a bunch of 'home-made' gigs in found spaces, gigged on fb during lockdowns, and have played at Adelaide's number 1 music pub, The Wheatsheaf. Their self-titled EP was released in 2021, produced by award-winning producer, Mario Spate. Sophisticated songs of love, loss and politics; three 'lead' vocalists; a multi-generational, loving vibe; and a beautiful sound.
