Multi-instrumentalist, singer and self-producing Alyrah has a unique set of musical influences: her Lebanese father’s Arabic music, her Australian mother’s varied Western tastes. The result is a sound that transcends genres and escapes boxes. Since 2017, Alyrah has entertained Sydney's underground with her indefinable indie-electronic sound, weaving undeniably danceable beats with lush layers of vocal harmonies. Blending elements of trance, breakbeat, trap and ambient with definite Middle Eastern flavours, Alyrah paints soundscapes that are as original as they are familiar.
