Recording artist, songwriter, single mum, and crazy sock aficionado! Alysha Zara is equal parts pop-rock and glitter wrapped in a colourful 5’3” package. She draws influence from the likes of Avril Lavigne, No Doubt, Killing Heidi and The Veronicas, sprinkled with a healthy dose of modern bubblegum pop to create 90s/00s-inspired pop-rock that is covered in sparkle - a genre she affectionately terms 'Bubblegum Rock'. With an emphasis on kindness, practicality and inclusivity, Alysha Zara doesn’t take herself too seriously, with the mantra that life should be fun. As she began approaching 30 years old, she realised she had been waiting too long for the “right time” and from that moment has thrown herself into pursuing the things that make her happy with a fierce vigour; striking a balance between motherhood and enthusiastic independence. She refuses to allow life to deter her from pursuing her dreams and stands defiant against the internal voice that says “you’re not young enough”,
