Influenced by the Motown era, Amali’s music is timeless, drawing inspiration from old school legends like Stevie Wonder to contemporary counterparts such as Cee Lo Green and Amy Winehouse. With a band comprised of some of the best musicians in Australia, Amali’s live show has seen her grace the stage of Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival, Southern Roots Festival and tour with Seal, Naturally 7, Paris Wells and The Bamboos. 2012 saw Amali co-write and feature on the infectious Dr Don Don track, ‘Good Thing’, and release her catchy first single ‘Leave Me Alone’. Now comes the release of her second single, the John Lennon International Song Writing Contest winning track, ‘Knock You Out’.
