Growing up in the suburbs of Melbourne, surrounded by eccentrics, creatives, and immersed in the arts, Amalie started making music full-time at the age of 15. experimenting with contradictions and humour, Amalie's music combines themes of Individuality, freedom, with honest lyrics, piano and intense beats. This Rising artist returns with her powerful new single ‘What's The Point Of Everything’, out Friday the 13th March. Produced by Ninajirachi, the track is an expansive Alt-Pop/ EDM fusion that captures the feeling of a generation collectively questioning the meaning of life. Amalie originally funded her musical career by painting commissioned portraits. Her creative worlds have continued to collide — including her decision to paint Ninajirachi for this year’s Archibald Prize, to celebrate women in music and more specifically, Ninas incredible musical accomplishments in the past year. The portrait will be unveiled and delivered to the Art Gallery of NSW by the 24th of March.
