To me, the term ‘Midnight Sun’ represents the rare or impossible, by giving my debut album this title might tell you just how pleased I am to have made it. I launched the album amongst family and friends at The Bridge Hotel in November 2009 and have been playing around Sydney ever since. I’ve been receiving great responses from audiences and I’m looking forward to more fun gigs and touring in the very near future. I have an eclectic taste in music. I grew up listening mainly to pop on the radio, so that has probably had a large influence, but I’ve also been involved in musical theatre, a jazz & gospel ensemble called ‘Jubilation’ and I went to the College of Country Music in Tamworth. Some artists people have suggested my voice and/or my music reminds them of are; Sheryl Crow, Brooke Fraser, The Corrs, Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant and Missy Higgins. My style is probably best described as a mix of pop, southern-folk, country and rock. I worked on this album with my good friend
