Ames is an R&B artist blending emotional honesty with smoky vocals and smooth, soulful production. Drawing on personal experiences, her songs feel like raw journal entries—intimate, moody, and unapologetically real. Her debut single Play Along set the tone with its slow-burn reflection on boundaries and self-worth, while follow-ups like Drifting bring a wavey, tropical edge. Influenced by SZA, Kehlani, and Amy Winehouse, Ames channels vulnerability and quiet power into modern R&B that resonates across Australia, the UK, and Spain.
