Amiel’s ‘modus operandi’ of music with a message is the foundation for his soft rock style of story telling. Whether they’re fanciful narratives or autobiographical expositions, the subject of his songs can often be broken down into philosophies on life. His lyrical style is inspired by various masters of the pen such as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Oscar Wilde. Queen, J.J. Cale and Live are but a few of the musical mentors that he holds in high regard. Amiel has been performing around South Australia, and more recently Queensland for over 16 years. His original music has seen him supporting top bands such as The Butterfly Effect, Shihad and Taxiride, performing at the Adelaide Entertainment and Festival Centre’s as well as receiving commercial airplay.
