For Dinora and Virginia Marquez life without music isn’t a life at all. Growing up in Sydney, western suburbs the sisters discovered a passion for song at a very young age. Music being a tradition in their family having a music teacher for a mother, a musical entertainer for a father and a guitarist/singer for an older brother music was never far away. Realizing their passion was the easy part but after seeing their brother chasing a career in the industry made them very aware of just how difficult it would be. Today their passion drives them forward and keeps them chasing their dream. At present Amulets preferred style is Pop/Rock. They have performed in many clubs, pubs, shows, competitions and in 2007 achieved a top 10 placing in the MusicOz Awards in the Pop category and held position 23 for the Peoples Choice National Music Oz Award for 2007 against thousands and thousands of artists.
